My husband and I are praying about leaving the church we currently attend to begin our hunt for a church that fits us better... We currently attend a *mega-church* and would like to find a smaller church where we can serve and grow.
I have realized that we may have to give up what we want in a church (i.e., small community church, certain worship style, fellowship) and there are definitely certain criteria a new church home will have to match, but ultimately we need to truly be open to where GOD wants us and where He can use us and grow us.
You know, though, the hardest part of this whole process is acknowledging the fact that we will need to step out of our comfort zone and move into the unknown...
Please share with me a time when you may have had to step out of YOUR comfort zone to follow the Lord's leading. I'd love to hear about it.

Ditto! We are members of a mega church. My husband has not felt led to leave but I have for quite some time. Oh, that makes it so difficult to be submissive and not pushy. We have had some great talks though and we are more seeing eye to eye. We have visited a church 2 times now and I pray for Gods leading. I do not want to get ahead of Him or my husband. I pray for God to direct my husband. I have liked this church we visited and so did he. But I desperately want to be where God wants us. And I desperately pray it is not where we are currently at. Maybe we can pray for each other on this matter.

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
