Nov. 13, 2006 - I'm Still Here!!
Wow! It has been a crazy week.... Here are a few things we've been doing:
- My sister, Sara, had her baby - Alex Jordan was born at 9:24 on Wednesday night, after 22 hours of labor and almost three hours of pushing! There was a possibility Sara may need to have a C-section, for various reasons but, thank God, Baby Alex was born without any complications - He was born beautiful and healthy!
- We had the initial walk-thru for our house, on Friday - There were just a few things that need to be fixed and/or replaced, but nothing major. We have our final walk-thru this Friday afternoon.
- There was a little snaffoo with our loan, which has caused a minor delay in the close of escrow.... We are now getting a better "deal" than we originally expected, praise God, but please pray that everything is worked out and that we can close and get the keys on Friday. We are so anxious, have the help lined up, and are ready (or will be, anyway) to move on Saturday.
- And, of course, we have been sorting, organizing, packing, packing and more packing!
I will try to post again soon, with pictures of Baby Alex and our new house. I look forward to getting caught up on all of your news, too - Hopefully I will have some time later tonight or tomorrow to stop by and say, "hi"!
