Feb. 1, 2007 - Thursday Thirteen #3 -- Thirteen Fun Facts About My Big Ben

In honor of Ben's 1st birthday I thought I would write
Thirteen Fun Facts About My Big Ben:
1. He is my only child with blond hair and fair skin
2. He has blue eyes that actually change shade and tint depending on what he is wearing (They are the bluest when he wears green and turn whatever shade of blue he is wearing.)
3. He scrunches up his nose and loudly breaths in and out when he is excited.
4. He likes to show off by crawling around really fast and flip-flipping on the floor
5. He adores his older sister and will let her carry him around anywhere (even though he's almost as big as she is!)
6. He has intentionally said "mama" while looking at me (or for me) since he was 4 months old
7. He has never liked smooshy baby food and has eaten table food since he was 6 months old
8. He loves his older brothers and enjoys nothing more than playing with them.
9. He is my biggest mama's boy
10. He can sign "more" and "all done"
11. He's not quite walking yet (he'll take two steps and sit down, only to get up and take another two steps, repeating the process until he is clear across the room!)
12. He's completely oblivious to the fact that he will have a new sibling very soon and will be shocked to discover that he is no longer the baby!
13. He is a blessing to everyone around him!!

Awww...Happy Birthday Big Ben!!!

My Dozer is my blonde boy as well...and his eyes have been very blue since the beginning. He's 2 now so I'm assuming they'll stay blue-- at least I hope they do!

That is too funny about him taking two steps, sitting down, and then getting up again to take a couple more!!! I hope you have that on video! hehehee...silly boy...

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
