Mar. 2, 2007 - Welcome To My Party!
Hello, I'm glad to have you join me!
Let me start by introducing myself… My name is Christine, but most in the blogosphere know me as YoungMommy. I have been married to my best friend, Ray, for about 7 ½ years (we will celebrate our 8th anniversary in August). The Lord has blessed us with five beautiful and energetic children, with one on the way! Our oldest babies are twin boys and are 6, we have one daughter right in the middle (she will be 5 in May), and then come our youngest baby boys - our 2 (almost 3) year old and our 13 month old. Our home is always full of activity, laughter and noise!
I keep myself plenty busy running after the little ones, home schooling, keeping up with the household happenings and trying to be the wife and mother God has called me to be! Ray is the Senior Vice President of a Public Relations firm and is an aspiring author.
We so enjoy being around family and friends and we love to have people in our home – We are always trying to find an excuse to have fun!
So, come on in and join the party...When you first arrive, you will be greeted by all five of our children, quite enthusiastically! Yelling their hello, they will run to give you loads of hugs and then lead you (most likely, drag you) to wherever Ray and I are.
You will find me in the kitchen, setting out the last of the yummy goodies. This time I have made a plethora of snacks, including the ever-popular (among adults and children alike) Muddy Buddies.
Ray will most likely be found in the backyard, where he will be discussing politics or history with whomever will engage him in stimulating conversation and/or debate.
After you get settled, please feel free to look around, mingle and have fun! Visit with me (I’d love to get to know you, so tell me a bit about yourself), explore our home (and my blog) and chat with the kids – I’m sure they have all sorts of fun stories to tell!
Don’t forget to check out all of the other parties going on this week… Hop over to 5 Minutes For Mom to find the list of happenings.
Come back and visit me often...
The door is always open for a friend!
