May. 6, 2007 - Sunday Seven

1. I indulged in a 1 hour pre-natal massage this week... It's amazing what a good massage can do for tired and achy muscles. It was wonderful!

2. My Grandmother treated a good part of the family to a scrumptious lunch on the anniversary of my grandfather's birth. He would have celebrated 81 years this last Tuesday, were he still with us. My children were never able to meet him, but they know all about Grandpa Les and talk about him as if they knew him!

3. My good friend, Ali, gave my blog a complete make-over this week. Didn't she do a fanastic job?

4. I was able to conquer the laundry demon, with the help of my very willing children! My husband is very happy to have the floor of our bedroom clear!

5. We enjoyed a nice dinner out, as a family, on Friday night. A Chili's just opened around the corner from our house and we were anxious to visit. Service was a little slow, so they treated us to dessert... Yummy!

6. Saturday we headed to Ray's parent's house for the day and to spend the night. We went to a big BBQ fund-raiser for the elementary school that Ray attended... He got to see alot of his old friends who still live in his home-town. The kids had a blast running around, playing at all of the carnival booths and in the jump houses.

7. Today we are heading from here (Ray's parent's house) for our annual vacation in San Diego... We have plans to hit Sea World and the Wild Animal Park, see our good friend, Julia, play at the beach, and relax. Oh, what fun!

Nice list. It sounds like you had a great week.
I was going to ask you who designed your blog, but then you told me in your list. I love it!! I need to make my design more exciting but I am a little scared to do it.

Have a great trip! So glad you got through the laundry. I always say I'll keep up with the laundry so it doesn't get like that, but I find myself with a pile like that every couple of weeks anyhow!

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
