I am embarrassed to say that this, my friends, is what the kids and I will spend the rest of the morning tackling (and into the afternoon, I'm sure) - Our clean laundry pile, before we sorted it...

My guess is that it is about 15 loads of towels, clothes, socks and undergarments!! It is literally ALL of the kids clothes from their drawers and closet (they have been searching through this pile for clothes each day this week), and ALL of the towels from the drawers and cupboards!!
Look daunting? Uh, yah!

Folding laundry is certainly my least favorite of all of the household chores, by far. I can never seem to stay on top of it, no matter how hard I try! UGGGH!

Today Ethan and Josh will help with the hanging, and Julia and Zach will fold the towels. I am so glad that I have some help!!
We CAN and WILL conquer this laundry demon!!

God love you....a women after my own heart. I do not like laundry either....it never seems to be done. I need laundry closure. :)

ahhhh...the dreaded laundry monster! My kids call the piles of laundry, "laundry nuggets". There is never an end to it!

I bring the load into the living room and dump it there. I yell "LAUNDRY!!!!!!!" and the rule is everyone must come and fold.
Everyone means the 1 yr old, 12 yr old, 7 yr old and dh and myself. Often it just means the children. But they do it. Then they stack the clothes appropriately and deliver them to the parent's room bed and put away properrrrrly (still working on this one) their own things in the drawers.
This "method" gets it folded right away- and put away right then. It does work.
Don't get the wrong idea. I hate laundry too.
And- I definately do not have a clean house. LOL!

This is too funny!!! I kid you not this week we have had the same exact pile of clothes on our floor x 2!!! We are going through our winter, spring and summer clothes and reorganizing and giving some sway. I will post pics later this week :-)

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
