Jun. 24, 2007 - Sunday Seven

Seven Things For Which I am Thankful:

1. My Husband - He works so hard to provide for us and he is such a wonderful husband and father. He brought me flowers this week, and picked up my favorite smoothie on his way home from work, "just because."
2. My Children - This week has been a long week. I have lost my patience more than I would like to admit, and just haven't been a very nice mom. My children, however, have continued to show their unconditional love for me, no matter how mean and grumpy I was.
3. My Extended Family - I am so thankful that I am close to my family. My Mom and sisters are some of my best friends, and my Dad and brothers are so much fun to be around!
4. My Friends - This last week I was able to spend some time with friends... Mindy spent Thursday afternoon with me, just hanging out. Sara and Jen were here Saturday with me, while our husbands were working hard in our backyard intalling our sprinkler system! I am also looking forward to a phone date this afternoon, with my dear friend Melissa. Oh, how I value adult conversation and friendship!
5. My House Cleaner - I am not ashamed to admit that I have help! I am so incredibly thankful that my husband has insisted on hiring some one to come help me with the more strenuous chores around the house, in these last months of my pregancy! Angelica is a God-send!
6. My Sister, Sara - I know I mentioned her already, but she is more than just a sister and a friend... She is a whiz at organizing any thing and every thing! She helped me, this week, with my heaps of never-ending laundry. And, she organized my closet, finding a place for every thing that did not yet have a place! Thanks again, Sara!

7. My Air Conditioner - This one seems odd, and out of place, but I have to say that, this last week, I have so enjoyed the cool days I have spent inside my cool house!

What a great list! We live about 3 hours from our families and I miss them so much. It must be wonderful to be so close to yours.
I'm thankful for my AC too! Spending a little time outside reminds me of that!!

Aw yes, you are blessed indeed! I had a house cleaning once while I was pregnant with number three. I remember sitting on the floor playing with my kids while someone else was cleaning my house. I was so grateful!

I had fun helping you last week with the organizing and laundry. I find it invigorating doing laundry and organizing, those are the two chores I stay on top of at home, the bathrooms are a different story! I'm so glad that Alex slept so long there. :) I too am thankful for family and also for the opportunity to help others. Love you!

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
