Jul. 26, 2007 - Not Quite Flushed Away

For several days unknown items, "flushed away" by my youngest two mischievous boys, were preventing anything from going down the toilet. We had a couple of quite messy incidences on the bathroom floor because, as my kiddos said, "it should flush away."

Last night, after many attempts at de-clogging the toilet - draino, a hanger, a snake - Ray finally pulled the toilet up to assess the damage... What Ray found was actually IN the toilet itself!

Since a picture speaks a thousand words,
I'll let them tell the rest of the story ~~~

But, wait! There was more ~~~ All total: 1 squeekie frog, 2 large blocks, 1 tube of sister's lipstick, 1 mini beanie-baby of the dolphin kind,
and a very grumpy Dad!

Ray reminded me this evening that, even before he pulled up the toilet, he found several items ~ puzzle pieces and lincoln logs, to name a few.
AND, apparently after I took the last picture, he also found a Buzz Lightyear action figure lodged somewhere between here and infinity!
All I have to say is, "Eeeeew!!"

Oh your poor dh. I thought it was bad when one of my darlings flushed my watch and earings down the toliet.

All I can say is wow! And I'm impressed Ray can take a toilet off and put it back on again - I would have been grumpy too!

Ha! Ha! Ha! That sounds just like my house! The toilet hasn't been functioning properly in about 2 years. I would not be surprised in the least to find all those things in there! I love the part about Buzz Lightyear!

Oh this brought back memories!!!! When my son was about 2 1/2, he flushed the booger nose plunger down the toilet. It just stuck JUST so in the crook of the toilet. I was in complete shock when I walked down the hall and found that the plumber actually had to take the toilet completely off the foundation. That was a very pricey flush.

Glad your toilet is flushing now. :)

Had to laugh...I certainly remember those days. And just a few weeks ago our son calls to ask his dad what to do when your child clogs the toilet with trying to flush things away. We had to laugh ...again...

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
