Aug. 27, 2007 - A Celebration
Julia came to me, the other day, and handed me a piece of paper that had her name on it. She explained that it was an invitation.
"To what?" I asked.
"Well, I want to have a celebration! It's going to be on Sunday night," she said.
Being that this little lady is sooo very much like her mommy when it comes to the desire to host parties and such, I could not say no... Any excuse for a celebration!
She explained that she wanted to have cupcakes and told me who she wanted to invite. Her little celebration evolved into a party to celebrate Baby Noah and Baby Ikaia (our good friend's brand new baby), with cupcakes, goody bags, presents, and good friends!
Julz did a fantastic job as little hostess, and her guests went away happy and full of her yummy cupcakes! What a wonderful big sister to go to so much effort to celebrate the life of her new little baby brother!

Oh what a wonderful big sister : ) Sounds like it was a yummy party with cupcakes and goody bags! Glad to hear that you are all doing well and trying to get back to normal.
Just out of curiosity did you happen to receive a card in the mail with a little packet for you and something little for the kids inside? I just want to make sure my little notes are reaching you : ) Blessings to you and your family.

Kids are so sweet. Lara did the same thing when Peyton was born. I came home from the hospital and the table was set with all the party decorations she could find. She even had a dandylion bouquet.

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
