Sep. 10, 2007 - I'm Gonna Be 30!!
 The countdown has begun....
I am living the last few weeks of my 20's!
Some of my friends who are turning 30 this year are having a really hard time, but for others it's just another birthday.
I'm not sure how I feel about turning 30...

| I turned 30 5 months ago, I love it. :) God has given us another year, that in itself is reason enough to celebrate. You'll have to let us know how you feel once you turn 30. Besides, haven't you heard 30 is the new 20? LOL |

I laughed when I read your post because your 30th birthday is just days away from my due date. It made it all the more real for me that this baby is really coming soon! I mean, if you're posting about your birthday already, wow! Maybe our theme song for this time of year should be "The Final Countdown". Hee, hee :) |

| thats funny that i stumbled across this... cause i just turned 27 last mon, and i wasnt thrilled, it felt like the sink into oldness, 27 is defienatly on your way to 30 and 30 is just not young and 20. it feels like it all slips away from here. not that i think your old:) |

| I turned thirty in May, and it was a hard one for me. Not because I feel old - I just don't feel like I'm old enough to have accomplished everything that I've done in my life already. I'm over it now, but it was hard for a few weeks! |

Hey, I just turned 33. Even though I had a tough time giving up the 20's...this is the most confident, whole and content I've felt ever. There really is something to the wisdom that comes with age...but it's way more than wisdom, it's life experience. It's being comfortable in your own skin, knowing who you are and how you fit into the world. These are all things I began to really discover in the last 3 years. Some of it has been hard, but it is so worth the journey...and I don't think you get that in your 20's.

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
