Oct. 5, 2007 - Busy, Busy, Busy!

Wow! Is it already Friday?!?!? Where did this week go?

I was so busy this week with school, the kiddos, life, my other blog, and... life, that I just didn't get around to posting here much.

Here's our week in review --

We had a great time at the zoo with a great group of friends and family. The animals are always fun to watch, but they all seemed to be taking their mid-afternoon nap while we were there. So, instead, the kiddos ran around collecting acorns, while all of us gals sat around and visited... Good times!

My Mom and Dad (aka Mimi and Poppy) had all of us (minus Aunt Rachel - she's in Tennessee with her 'boyfriend') over for dinner and a time of prayer. It was so wonderful getting together with everyone to worship the Lord and bring our concerns before Him together. It would be nice to do that more often!

The kiddos made some fun artwork with all of the acorns they collected at the zoo... One form of artwork that can only be kept through pictures.

The twins are both doing a fantastic job with their reading. It's so much fun to hear them try to read EVERYTHING that they see! Noah is getting bigger and bigger every day, but he still just wants to be held... ALL THE TIME! This too shall pass, and then I will long for it again, I'm sure! Julia must have grown 2 inches in the last two weeks! She is getting so tall. I am waiting for the day when she catches up (or passes up) the twins. Josh and Ben... Well, what can I say about them? They are so much fun, but both of them are at an age where they get frustrated with themselves and others so quickly. It's quite challenging.

Well, I am off for the next few days for a little time away. My wonderful husband is being so gracious to take care of the kiddos by himself overnight so I can go on a mini-retreat with some of my good friends. Of course I'm taking Noah with me, but it will be nice to have a break!

Next week I hope to resume all of the fun memes, daily posts and great pictures that I love to post. Maybe I will even make it to visit a few of you... I've been so horrible at that!

With all of the toys, books and school stuff filling our home, it tends to looks as if it is void of any order. In reality we are very systematic in the way our main parts (each family member) are connected, so as to form one whole unit (our family), thus creating "organized chaos".
