My Mom's Apple Crisp is the BEST!!

- 4 cups tart apples
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 flour
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (+ 1/4 cup to sprinkle on top)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375. Pare, core and slice apples and place in a 9-inch square pan. Add lemon juice. Mix together remaing ingredients and sprinkle on top. Add the additional brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake about 30 minutes.
Mimi then serves it HOT with her homemade ice cream... Mmm Mmmm!!
