Eragon is your average teenager who's life is changed in a flash when he is in the Spine, a mountain range that is west of his village.  Then one day a storyteller takes Eragon and Saphira? on an adventure through their country.  Along the way the travlers ran into some problems with strange creatures. Also they had to save a thing from a prison.  After all this Eragon get's a scare on his body from a powerful enemy.

  Here's a new series of books that I love. It is called Dragons in our Midst.  To buy the book or the  series visit http://www.christianbook.com/ and use the keyword Dragons.

    It starts with a dream, with William (Billy) Bannister.  In the dream Billy is fighting a dark knight.  As the dream goes on Billy finds things that he did not know about.  It first happened when he hurled flames at the knight, then he started to fly, and then he started to fall head first towards the ground.  When he wakes-up he he is on his bed. 

     Billy has something special about him, he has bad breath, not morning bad breath but " Don't-you-dare-get-near-me" bad, he even has a new nick name that he hates and that is Dragon Breath.  This name means he has hot-breath.

   Billy's troubles stat when Adam Lark (a bully) was going to set off the fire sprinkler with his new lighter when Billy sets it off with his breath and get suspended for three days.  When Billy get home he hears his parents talking about holding a secret to long.

     There is another main character called Bonnie Silver. Bonnie also has something special about her. She has dragon wings that she has know for a long time.  She has been hiding her secret since she was five and she is in middle school. As Billy has a nick name, Bonnie has a nick name. She is known as Backpack Bonnie.  As the two of them fight a old knight they learn to trust in themselves, others, and God. Expect the second one in a short time (The Candlestone)

Last nite i went to Winter Jam, a awesome concert in Lexington at Rupp Arena. The bands there were Mercy me, Skillet (my most favorite band of all the bands  there), BarlowGirl, and  Mandisa. To hear one of Skillets songs, go to Rebirthing after wonderful King by David Crowder band.

          By the author of Because of Winne-Dixie comes a fun filled story of a mouse, a rat, a servant girl, and a princess.  It starts as Despereaux a mouse is born and the soul survivor of his mother's last litter ,but there is something strange about Despereaux, he was born with his eyes open and with large ears.   

         A lot of the characters in this book have weird names like the rat I'm going to tell you about.  The rat has such a weird name that I forget it.  The rat is not your average rat, he loves to look at light when other rat hate it.  Rats like to torment prisoners.  They pretend that they are the prisoners friend in the dark dungeon, then they take stuff they might have.  While this certain rat has a spoon, a blood- red cloth, and is missing half of his whiskers out of his snout.

   The servant girl's name is Mag for short.  She has a dream of becoming a princess.  Her dad traded her for a package of cigarettes, a hen, and a blood-red cloth.  Mag is nearly deaf but the rat can talk to her.

     The princess name is Pea.  Her mother died when she was very small, about six.  She and Despereaux at the end become really good friends.  As the author would say '"we must go back if we are to go forward."  There is a short brefing on the book "The Tale of Despereaux."

Frank and Joe are back in a fun filled mystery with danger around every corner.  Their dad is working on a top - secret mystery at Elekton ( this is a science factory) that he can't tell his sons or anyone else about.  Someone has been sending the Hardy's threating warnings, through the mail in the dead of night, and shooting arrows at Frank and Joe's friends.   While Frank and Joe put together two and two they help their dad solve his case, without knowing it.  With supspects in mind they set out to solve "The Secret of the Old Mill".

Nancy is back with another exciting mystery.  Henri and Helene Fontaine (friends of Nancy) are receiving threatening letters from???  Bess Marvin, George Fayne, and Ned Nickerson help Nancy try to help the Fontaine.  They seem to run into trouble everywhere. Nancy is back!!  This time it is winter.  Bess Marvin is working part-time at Beary Wonderful (a bear store). Bess's boss Dotty Baldwinhas a collection of her own that will sell over a $100.00 or more. Then one night Dotty's bears were stolen.  With suspects in mind Nancy goes to solve the case.

This story starts out with Frank and Joe Hardy seeing a strange object running through their front yard.  Later that night someone comes to the door, who can it be??  It is an old friend of theirs, Captian Phil "Pearly" Early, he used to be a captian in WW II.  The Captian came to their house to ask for help from their famous detective dad, unfortunately, he was out of town.  The Captian needed help because someone kept breaking into his house.  Frank thought it best to call his dad and get his help. While he was talking to his dad, his dad asked questions about the break in and it involved Whalebone Island.  They all decide to meet at Whalebone Island to do some detective work.

After talking with his dad, Frank, Joe and Chet Morton (a close frined), go out on the Hardey's boat to meet their dad on Whalebone Island.  When they get there they find Mr. Hardy unconscience.  Later they find out it was the bad guys who also stole the treasure.   The next time they investigate the island they find a cave underneath a pond and someone was living there.  After that they get on a ship with scuba divers and try to find the stolen treasure. 

With the suspects in mind, Frank and Joe cross out those not involved against those involved.  They narrow it down to two suspects, who are they??? Well you'll just to read the book to find out.

Eragon a farm boy in an adventure as he travels throught Aligesia.  Four of the members of the Varden are gone two of which are dead.  Eragon, Arya and Orik go to Du Weldenvarden to complete Eragon's training as a Rider.  With the help pf the elves and the dragons Eragon is more elf then human. As another Rider is born Eragon must fight it and it's dragon, and Roran is deeply in love with Katrina a buchter's dauther is going to get her back from the Raz'ac Galbatorix's servents is in a lot of trobule in trying to save Katrina.

Nancy and two of her friends George Fayne and Bess Marvin go to visit her Aunt Eloise at Mirror bay.  Nancy's aunt is staying at Bide-A-Wee in New York.  When they get to Bide-A-Wee Nancy's aunt told them about a ghostly figuer on some water in front of her house.  The ghostly figuer is looking for something that has been in her family for years.Also there is news of a Sorcerer on a mountain close by.  Will Nancy solve this mystery or not?
